Item Title
Establish date and time of meetings
Issue/Rationale
In accordance with Section 1001.371, F.S., the district school board shall hold not less than one regular meeting a month for the transaction of business. As part of the proceedings of organization, the school board must establish the schedule for regular meetings.
Recommended Action
Motion to hold regular meetings of the School Board on the third Thursday of each month at 7:00 p.m., except for the November meeting which will be held immediately following the November organization meeting as set by Florida Statutes. The location of such meetings shall be at the Teacher Inservice Center at Fleming Island High School, unless otherwise specified.
